Behavior Assessments involve looking at genetic predispositions, the patient’s experiences and history, the health of the patient, the environment and context, and setting realistic expectations. I generally break down my approach to behavior problems in the following way: How can we manage the problem? How can we modify the behavior of both humans and pets? Would the patient benefit from Medication?
